A Premier Redwoods National Forest Campground
HELLO, CAMPERS! My name's Woodrow Redtree, but you can call me "Woody." I invite you to join me in this online tour of my home: The Redwoods RV Resort!
Read on and explore the idyllic redwood forest setting, the convenient Northern California coast location, what to enjoy in the area, the quality camping amenities & accommodations and much more!
A Gorgeous Redwoods Setting
The Redwoods RV Resort is set in a grove of mature redwood trees (my friends & family, actually) in the majestic Redwood Forest of California. Shade is no problem here, friends. Experience the thrill of RV, tent & cabin camping under a canopy of soaring redwood trees, plus spruce, hemlock, and Douglas firs, which tower over the berry bushes and sword ferns below.
Sunnier spots are home to the Columbia Lily, also known as the Tiger Lily. Here, Steller's jays, ravens and even the occasional endangered marbled murrelet flit between the trees while toads & frogs (including the endangered northern red-legged frog) chirp peacefully along the edges of pristine waters.

A Convenient Northern California Coast Redwoods Location
The Redwoods RV Resort is located in Crescent City, on Highway 101 on the beautiful Northern California coast, about 20 miles south of the Oregon border in Del Norte County.

The Northern California Area
I may not get around much (though I am fairly peripatetic for a redwood tree) but, thanks to my feathered friends and the veteran campers who stay at The Redwoods RV Resort, I have learned a lot about what to see and do in the area.
Venture into the Northern California Redwoods
The 78-mile stretch of US-101 from Eureka to Crescent City in California has been dubbed the Redwood Highway. The Redwoods RV Resort is just minutes to the Redwoods National Forest, the Jebediah Smith Redwoods State Park, the Trees of Mystery, a grand golf course and more.

Explore the Northern California Coast
In addition to the redwoods, Highway 101 travels along the Northern California coast, where travelers are treated to outstanding views of the pounding surf, sea stacks, bluffs and cliffs. Explore coastal communities, lighthouses, museums, aquariums, a golf course, casinos & more.

Northern California Rivers
Inland, you'll enjoy an abundance of outdoor adventures and recreation on the Klamath River and Smith Rivers. Reel in a good time on a fishing trip and float or paddle your way to fun on the area's rivers.
